The 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 at Seri Kembangan provides an Introduction Training to their International students who pursue the Diploma in Hotel Management. The training comprises a total of 40 hours before students are sent for industrial placement. It is compulsory for all students to attend this training before they go for their internship. The classes are conducted three times a week with 3 hours per session. This is to ensure students are fully prepared before they go into their practical work based sessions in hotels around Malaysia.
The training basically prepares students on:
a) Introduction to the Hospitality Industry
b) Hotel Operations & Departments
c) Housekeeping Sales & Mktg
e) Skills Development
Besides the introduction training, the college also gives these students a 1-day orientation class as well prepares the students for the IELTS examination which is also compulsory for students to attend and pass the examination.
